The Golden Spike Foundation (GSF) is a Utah-based non-profit committed to bringing to light the diverse people who worked side-by-side building the transcontinental railroad. In 2019, GSF partnered with local, state, and national organizations to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the transcontinental railroad.
As a part of a lasting legacy, GSF committed to creating and installing three public art pieces in Box Elder County, Utah.
We invite you to support our endeavor to continue to tell the story of tens of thousands of railroad workers from diverse backgrounds who built the transcontinental railroad.
